Hi Annie,
I have just read the recipe. Is there meant to be carrots for the soup too? It's mentioned in the directions, but not the ingredient list (there is some in the stock too).
I absolutely love your website. Everything I have cooked from here has worked out perfectly (even with the conversions to Australian measurements). You inspire me to be more organised!
Sarah :)

I made this soup last night, and it's delicious! I couldn't find any bone-in breasts at the store, so I used drumsticks instead and it turned out beautifully.

Has anyone tried using the leftover ground chicken, carrots, etc. for anything? I'm thinking about making a chicken ragout instead of throwing it away.

Hi Kelly,
No, sorry, I really have no idea. I didn't measure it so I have no way of knowing.

Annie this looks fabulous. Do you know/remember how much stock was made so if I were to take the "lazy" route and buy stock in the can (yeah, yeah I know ..) how much I would need? Thanks! If it weren't a weeknight meal I promise I would try to make the stock myself.

This post has officially convinced me to make my own chicken noodle soup at home. It looks so hearty and satisfying-a perfect dinner dish to enjoy during these chilly February nights!

Hi Zeze,
If you use all water, that will make for a very tasteless, bland soup. It would need tons of modifications to gain back some taste and to be honest, I'm not even sure where to start. I'd probably just look for a new recipe instead.
