Used fat free half and half instead of cream and removed casings of turkey brats for the sausage. SO LOVED THIS SOUP. Added one extra potatoe bee
To stretch out... have a friend who doesn't eat anything green. He loved it and there was more kale for the rest of us!

My friend Courtney has been raving about your site, and I saw this soup come up on Pinterest. I am newly-addicted to it (which Courtney also has to bear some responsibility for) and am struggling to get it under control. Your recipe gives me a compelling reason to leave the computer and go into the kitchen and actually make something from the Pinterest. I will definitely be trying this!

I made this last night for the first time--SO GOOD! I thought I had turkey sausage in the freezer--turns out it was just ground turkey (albeit "italian seasoned" ground turkey) so I used that instead and chopped up swiss chard because that's what I got in my CSA this week. YUMMMMMM. Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. The Olive Garden's version is one of my boyfriend's favorite soups ever, so when I found this (via pinterest), I thought it would be perfect to try for our anniversary dinner last night. He loved it so much he went back for not only seconds, but thirds. It's amazing, and so simple! I love it.
