Thanks SO MUCH for the easy to follow guide. I ended up using vanilla wafers for the wings since she's got a chocolate allergy and while they were difficult to halve, once they got coated in the red candy they looked fine. Also, instead of M&M's (due to the allergy), I used cake decorating gel. I did stick with the mini Oreo heads and made sure she knows not to eat that part -- At least the other kids in her class will get SOME chocolate ;-) Again, thanks for the great documentation and creative idea!!
