This recipe has been in my stack of must try recipes for quite some time now. I found myself with 6 over ripe bananas last night and decided the time was right! I made a double batch and sent half with my husband to his job site and brought the other half to work with me this morning. I was amazed when they were baking they looked SO PERFECT! I resisted temptation and had my first one once I got to work and they are wonderful! Everyone at my work has told me these are GREAT muffins!!!! Thank you Annie!

Do you think it would be ok to refrigerate these overnight before adding the crumb topping--that way I could cook them early in the morning? They got really soggy really quick and tasted much better fresh out of the oven.

WOW! I am SUPER happy here... I simply LOVE your website, and admire all the recipes, once and a while try something (and always love it), but these came out of the oven FANTASTIC. I think it must be the most delicious thing I ever did. :)))) Moist, delicious and healthy. I used only whole weat flour and brown sugar, added nutmeg and felt in love. THANK yout soooo much. Congratulations!!!!

Just made these, and they are the BEST muffins I have ever had. Doubled the recipe and got 20 muffins, and oh my gosh they are perfect. They are so soft and fluffy and the topping is amazing and the overall flavor is just so good. I will be making these again and again, thank you for this recipe!

I made these last month and they barely lasted two days. I have a batch in the oven with nutella swirled in, and I'm curious to see how long these last!

I made these muffins and totally loved the recipe. I've since made them again, without the crumb this time and instead, I incorporated 100 grams of Lindt Swiss dark chocolate (chopped). Incredible muffin. Now, I make sure there are always banana in the freezer so I can make these at a moment's notice. I love your blog!
